Below are the detailed prices, opening hours, tips for visiting with kids and a packing list worth running through before you set off.

What Is the Aqua Club — Silver Lake's Water Park

The water park at Silver Lake opened in 2011 and was one of the first water parks in this part of Serbia. Today it operates as the Aqua Club, part of Hotel Danubia Park, at Jezerske zvezde 60 — practically on the lakeshore, right by the main promenade.

For many families, the water park is exactly why they choose Silver Lake over other destinations in Serbia for their summer holiday: the lake and the beach are great for confident swimmers, but for parents of small children, supervised pools with lifeguards mean a far more relaxed break. A combination like that in one location is hard to come by.

The complex can hold around 1,200 visitors and is designed so you can spend the whole day in one place. Inside the park there's a drinks bar, fast food and ice cream, changing rooms and toilets, including an accessible toilet for visitors with disabilities. There are also ramps and adapted walkways, plus a lifeguard service on duty throughout opening hours.

Pools and Slides: What Awaits You in the Water

The water area takes up roughly a third of the total surface, and the pools are laid out so that everyone finds their depth:

  • Five pools of different depths — from very shallow to ones for more serious swimmers.
  • A baby pool for ages 0 to 3 — shallow water and a calm corner, set well apart from the bustle.
  • Two waterslides that splash down into one of the pools — the main attraction for school-age kids and teenagers.

If the slides aren't enough for someone in the family, the real lakeside beach and promenade are just a few minutes' walk away — we've covered it in detail in our guide to the beach and promenade at Silver Lake, so you can easily split your day between the pools and the lake.

Water Park Ticket Prices in 2026

The prices in the table come from the Aqua Club's official price list for the 2026 summer season. They change only moderately from year to year, but it's still worth checking the current price list on the official website before you go.

Sun lounger rental costs 200 RSD per day and a deckchair 100 RSD. If you're spending the whole summer break at the lake, there are monthly passes too: 9,000 RSD for adults (weekdays) or 10,000 RSD (all days), and 6,000 or 7,000 RSD for children. Guests of Hotel Danubia Park enter free of charge.

Opening Hours and Swimming Season

The water park is open every day from 10 am to 7 pm, whenever the weather allows swimming. The season generally runs from June to early September — the exact opening date depends on the weather, so check the website or call ahead before you travel.

The biggest crowds come at weekends in July and August, when day-trippers descend on the lake as well. If you can pick your dates, a weekday in June or late August means noticeably more free loungers and shorter queues for the slides. Bear in mind that on rainy or unusually cool days the park may close early or not open at all — in those situations, a quick look at the official website or a phone call can save you the trip.

Tip: In peak season, be at the gate by 10 am, claim loungers in the shade straight away and hit the slides before noon — after noon the queues get noticeably longer. If you prefer an afternoon swim, the half-day ticket from 3 pm is the cheapest way in.

Visiting with Kids: How to Get Through the Day Without Tears

The Aqua Club is first and foremost a family water park: shallow pools, a baby pool for the littlest ones and lifeguards at every turn make it a safe choice even for children who are just learning to swim. For babies and toddlers up to age 3, the baby pool is shallow enough for a parent to sit in the water right beside their child.

A few tried-and-tested tricks from parents who come back every year:

  • Stay out of the water between noon and 4 pm, when UV radiation is at its strongest — that's the perfect window for lunch and a break in the shade.
  • Apply sunscreen before you go in and reapply it after every swim.
  • Pack a spare set of dry clothes for the kids and swim nappies for the youngest.
  • Agree on a "meeting point" with older children — the complex isn't huge, but it can get packed at peak times.

For families with small children, nothing matters more than having your accommodation close by: when your child dozes off after lunch, the afternoon return to the water is just steps away. That's exactly why the Silver Lake Residence apartment, located right next to the water park, about 150 metres from the promenade and sleeping up to 4 guests, is a favourite with parents — nap breaks and returns to the slides happen on foot, no car needed.

What to Pack for the Water Park

Bringing your own food into the complex isn't allowed, but the park sells fast food and drinks, and there are restaurants right along the promenade. For everything else, this list covers the whole day:

  • swimsuits, plus a spare one for each child,
  • towels (there are no rentals),
  • high-SPF sunscreen and after-sun lotion,
  • a cap or sun hat and sunglasses,
  • flip-flops or slides for the wet walkways,
  • a waterproof pouch for your phone and money,
  • a bottle of water for every member of the family,
  • armbands or a swim ring for non-swimmers (check the rules at the entrance for larger inflatables).

Location and What Else to See Nearby

The water park sits in the very heart of Silver Lake's tourist zone, next to the promenade and the marina, about 3 kilometres from Veliko Gradište. From Belgrade it's roughly an hour and a half to two hours' drive (around 110 kilometres, taking the motorway to Požarevac and continuing towards Veliko Gradište). There are public car parks near the complex, and everything at the lake is within walking distance.

If you're staying at the lake for several days, the pools are only the beginning. Our complete guide to Silver Lake covers all the beaches, restaurants and activities, and for days when you fancy a change of scenery we've also put together an overview of the best day trips around Silver Lake — from Golubac Fortress and the Iron Gates (Đerdap) to Tumane Monastery. You can read more about the destination on the website of the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia.

The Silver Lake water park is one of those rare attractions that works equally well for a three-year-old, a teenager and the parents: everyone finds their own pool, and the day flies by faster than you'd like. Check the current price list before you leave, arrive ahead of the first crowds, and it's hard to go wrong.
